Music Ministry
The White Hall Baptist Music Ministry exists to glorify God. We seek to accomplish this by being word-centered in our singing. We believe that the Bible’s central teaching is the redemptive work of Christ on the cross. Therefore, we seek to maintain gospel saturated singing. Much like the Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 6) we pray that everyone will have an authentic encounter with the Living God. Our prayer is that each person will gain a correct view of God: high and lifted up, and gain a correct view of man: undone, sinful. Lastly, we pray that each person will be confronted with the wonderful grace of God displayed in the person of Jesus Christ on the cross.
We believe that it is important to sing both hymns and contemporary songs in our corporate worship gatherings. However, the most important factor in choosing these hymns and songs is lyrical content. At WHBC we strive to be driven by the truth of the Word in everything we do. We believe each service is a tremendous opportunity for the saints to gather and glorify God together.
Adult Choir
The adult choir is an opportunity to serve God and His church through song. There are no prerequisites to join this group. If you have a willing heart and a desire to worship God then come join the choir! We present two seasonal musicals per year: Easter and Christmas. The choir is also an active part of morning worship services throughout the calendar year. Rehearsal takes place each Sunday at 5pm in the choir room.
