I have served as pastor of White Hall Baptist Church since January of 2001.  My wife, Stephanie, and I moved to the Richmond area from St. Louis, Missouri.  We are originally from Illinois.  It has been a rewarding and enriching experience to serve the Lord with this great church.  It is a pleasure to preach God's Word to people who enjoy hearing and learning more about the great doctrinal truths contained in Scripture.  The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:15:

 

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

 

Our desire at White Hall Baptist Church is to be a people of the Word and to be God-centered and Word-centered in our approach to ministry and worship.  It is truly a blessing to serve in this community with such wonderful church members, godly deacons, and a great staff.

I became the secretary for White Hall Baptist Church on August 27, 2007, after retiring as the office supervisor at the Richmond Post of the Kentucky State Police on August 31, 2004.

 

It has been a blessing from God to be given the opportunity to serve Him in this place.  God has given this church a pastor who genuinely cares for each and every member of his congregation and delivers God’s message in truth and humility.  This is truly an amazing and loving group of believers, and I consider it an honor to be their secretary.
